Henry is doing extremely well! Absolutely no accidents in the house and he just loves being my “velcro dog”.Â
I finally gave him (and the other three dogs) a bath today. So he smells wonderful! The only issue we’re having is that he’s not wanting to eat. I know a certain amount of this is normal; but it’s been three days. Finally this afternoon, after trying a cooked egg, the food we feed, the food he was on at the breeder, canned food on any and all of the above too: I finally learned he will eat a hot dog. Well, absolutely not the best choice - but at least he got some food in his stomach. Tomorrow we will try some other things to try and get him to eat the kibble. He’s acting absolutely fine, playing well and all that. Drinking water fine. So I’m trying not to worry - but watching him closely.
Okay - here’s some new photos.
All freshly clean from his bath.

And snoozing with his new blankie while sharing my office chair with me.

Today we picked up our new tri-color boy that we have named Henry! Gotta love a dog named after an English King and chocolate (Oh Henry! candy bar
). He’s just a pet and will much loved in our home along with our other boys: Charlie (Blenheim), Bear and Jack (both solid black Shih Tzu).

As if it wasn’t bad enough with the recent onslaught of lead found in children’s toys and products, now lead and even arsenic has been found in pet toys and pet food bowls. This news video is a must see for all pet owners.
Just as I’m sure you have gone through your human children’s toys and are carefully choosing toys for Christmas this year, so too you need to be careful in choosing toys for your pets. Go through their toys and either have them tested or if in doubt, toss them out!
Stainless steel food bowls would be the safe way to go. They last forever and do not leach any chemicals and do not contain any toxins.  They do have cute embossed stainless steel bowls available now, to jazz them up a bit.
Let’s keep all our children safe:Â furry and bare-skin.
